Keep used CLEANR Pods contained and return them responsibly. For $10 per box, we ship a reusable collection box plus a pre-paid return label. Fill it (~20 pods), send it back, and we sanitize and keep the box in circulation

How it Works
Follow these steps to safely collect your used pods and keep microplastics contained
Run laundry as usual with CLEANR.
Use CLEANR with your normal routine to capture microplastics before they leave your laundry.
Change your Pod.
When it’s time to change your pod, remove the Pod from the housing.
Put in a fresh pod so CLEANR can continue capturing microplastics load after load.
Drain the water (do not pour into the sink).
Either pour the remaining water into the washer drum, or let the pod sit upright in a container/sink until it drains out. The goal is to keep captured fibers out of drains.
Once drained, let the Pod sit upright briefly so it’s no longer dripping before placing it in the collection box.
Important: do not dump water down the sink.
Place the used pod in your collection box.
Drop the used Pod into your reusable collection box and close the lid. Keep collecting until it’s full (up to 20 Pods).
Tape the pre-paid label to the full box and send it back!
When your box is full, seal it and use the included pre-paid return label to send it back to us. We sanitize and reuse the box and securely store used pods while finalizing a certified recycling partner.
Where is this available?
The Pod Collection Program is currently available in the U.S. and Canada. We’re working to expand internationally.
What should I do with water in the used pod?
Drain it into the washer drum (not the sink), or let the pod sit upright in a container until it drains. This helps keep captured fibers out of household plumbing and waterways.
What happens to returned pods?
We collect and securely store used pods while we finalize a certified recycling partner. The collection boxes are sanitized and reused.
